Saturday, September 24th, from 12pm to 3pm, the 3rd Annual Franklin Day Festival will be held in Colonial Park on Elizabeth Avenue in Somerset, NJ and will include live music, over 100 vendors, dance performances showcasing Franklin’s diverse community, 16 fantastic food vendors and lots of free rides and activities for children.
There is something special for all ages. Adults can enjoy a classic car show and participate in a Pickle Ball demonstration, shopping and interacting with local businesses and non-profits, while children can enjoy totally free pony rides, bouncy houses, paddle boats, miniature golf and petting zoo along with Township vehicles to climb into and explore.
The event is being sponsored by Investors Bank, L’Oréal, Oasis Senior Advisors as well as Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s Hospital among many other local businesses.
The Franklin Day Festival is on September 24th, from 12 noon to 5:00 PM in Colonial Park, Lot C (near the children’s playground). Cars can enter the Park via Elizabeth Avenue or Mettlers Road. To learn more, visit the Franklin Township website at www.franklintwpnj.org/FranklinDay.
